Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Chocolate avocado pudding is a thick and creamy dessert that tastes indulgent, but it is actually healthy. It taste just like instant chocolate pudding in a good way – you would never guess the main ingredient is avocado! In addition to being a rich pudding, it can also be enjoyed as a delicious fruit or berry dip or used as fudge icing.

Health Benefits of Avocados

Avocados are filled with healthy fats that you don’t have to be afraid of because they provide powerful anti-inflammatory properties and don’t make you fat. Avocados also contain oleic acid which is a healthy fat that helps with the absorption of fat soluble nutrients like vitamin A, D E and K. Avocados are very high in carotenoids which our body can convert to vitamin A to nourish your eyes. The fibre found in avocados slows the release of sugar into your system so you don’t get a sugar crash after enjoying this decadent dessert.

Health Benefits of Cacao

Did you know chocolate in its most natural organic form is actually good for you!?! Raw cacao in its purest form is jam-packed with antioxidants that counteract cellular damage that can lead to chronic diseases like cancer or heart disease. When cacao is raw, it still has all of its minerals and vitamins, including magnesium which relaxes muscles. Raw cacao also contains Phenylethylamine (PEA), which is the chemical known to inspire happiness, clear mindedness, focus, and wakefulness.

What could I use in place of the syrup?

Hi Kim, honey would work one for one. Stevia and chocolate don’t usually combine well so I wouldn’t recommend it. You could also try adding a banana or 4 soaked dates for sweetness.

That was AMAZING. I love avocados, but my son HATES them. He tried it and LOVED it. Then I told him what was in it. He still loved it. Thank you so much!
