Banana Ice Cream

Banana ice cream is so popular right now because it is super easy to make and it is delicious. You won’t believe it’s not ice cream! This is a must-try recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth that is totally guilt-free because it is naturally sweetened with bananas. I like to get creative and play around with the toppings. My favourite is homemade chocolate sauce and pecans but I also like to add fresh berries and trail mix. This ice cream is such a great bade for whatever you are craving. It is also kid-approved!

Banana Ice Cream

(vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free)

Prep time: 5 minutes | Serving size: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas frozen in slices
  • 1-2 Tbsp milk*

Directions

  1. Blend in a food processor until smooth (note: use a food processor over a blender for a more ‘ice cream’ like texture). *If it is not blending well, add the milk of your choice or let the bananas soften before blending. The less liquid you add the better.
  2. Serve immediately if it is still solid enough, or freeze for 2 hours so you can scoop it like “real” ice cream.
  3. Top banana ice cream with chocolate sauce and chopped pecans.
